I had a bunch of nice things happen to me today:
Nice thing #1, 9:10am
My Anatomy professor gave us 5 minutes with our notes in the middle of our exam. It totally saved me from missing 6 questions regarding the cells released from the pancreas during digestion and what they help breakdown.
Nice thing #2, 10:45am
I accidentally left the headlights on my car on while I was in class. So I got back to my car and the battery was dead. A campus security guard met me out by my car and jumped the battery.
Nice thing #3, 11:15am
The teller at the bank noticed I left off $2 on my deposit slip and made the correction for me on me. Hey, $2 is 4 cokes!
Nice thing #4, 12:40pm
I bought some collard greens at Publix that were regularly $2.99 and on sale for $1.50. They incorrectly charged me the non-sale price and so the Publix lady just handed me $3 and apologized.
Nice thing #5, 1:05pm
Two large, burly men helped me push my car from the middle of the intersection onto the side of the road when the car locked up because I turned it off while it was in 2nd gear.*
Nice thing #6, 1:05pm
Patrick dropped what he was doing at work and hopped right in his car and sped over to help me when I called him freaking out about my car being dead in the middle of an intersection and I had no freaking clue what to do. Of course, he arrived at the very second that the nice, large, burly men got it started, and he just hugged me and said he was glad I was safe.
*My car was totally fine. I had accidentally put it into 2nd gear instead of Drive and when I came to a red light I tried to push it up to drive and it wouldn't go. So I turned the car off and tried to move it back up to drive and the car locked up. Apparently it's a safety feature or something because it would not crank or move into drive or anything. So I was stuck in an intersection with bozo's honking at me and I had no idea what to do. Until I flagged down the nice FedEx man to help me.
