There was a good cover story on Kings of Leon in Rolling Stone last week and I've had this song in my head all week. I read that the whole "sex on fire" reference means nothing. They were recording the song and the chorus was "this sets us on fire" and some sound tech walked into the recording room and misheard them and said "sex on fire...cool." and they liked it so much they changed it.
