We got home late this afternoon and it feels so good.

Our two week vacation/family reunion was awesome in every way (except for the major cold & wind) and we didn't want it to end, but walking in our little house was like a nice big welcome home hug. The house was clean and (relatively) warm and we had a huge stack of mail waiting for us. We both LOVE to go through mail when we get home from a long trip. We had tons of Christmas cards, which I was pleased to see that so many people - 13 to be exact - were late sending out their Christmas cards. I really enjoy the tradition of the photo Christmas card; I love seeing how everyone has changed over the year, to see the cute pictures, trendy card designs and hear updates. However, what is up with people sending out like $2.50 a piece cards with professional, super expensive photos on the front? Everyone is trying to outdo the Jones'. Anyhoo.

Tomorrow I think I'll post the first of my Life List.
