We went camping over the weekend at Mike Roess Goldhead State Park for our 6th wedding anniversary. It was such a great weekend. We ate fried chicken, took a long hike Saturday morning, lounged around the campsite, watched Piper play in the dirt (her feet were BLACK), sat around the campfire and talked, looked at stars, enjoyed a super sweet basket of champagne, fun cheese and crackers and fancy chocolate bars (if anyone is curious, the lavender one was our favorite, click on the links for each one we ate). I LOVE sitting down and drinking fun/nice wine (or champagne!) with nice cheese and chocolate and really making it a super yuppie food experience.
It was so fun to take the weekend to relax and have fun together and we kept talking about what we were doing right.this.moment six years ago. Our favorite memories from the wedding weekend: how wasted every single person was at the rehearsal party, dancing to "Going to the Chapel" and singing along at the top of our lungs at Woody's the night before the wedding while the managers were spraying water on all of us, the evening dinners at everyone beach houses, the perfect weather when we said our vows, the fun of hanging with all our friends in st. john.

how about that body shot i took off your stomach? that was fun. things i loved: doing the flowers (and picking some native ones), titling uncle mark "uncle pk", taking a hike by myself totally hung over, dancing while sweating my arse off (and being so thankful that everyone else was sweating as much as me), being so friggin care free for a WEEK ahhh...
